Correct Connect Free Motion Breastplate

Help your horse move and jump more freely! Our Free Motion Breastplate does just that!

It attaches to the billets at an angle that frees the horse's shoulder and doesn't restrict  movement. A soft but thick chest piece folds around the horse's chest and keeps the saddle in place.

Without the leg strap that goes to the girth, the Free Motion Breastplate moves with the horse and without shoulder restriction.

FIT AND SIZE:

Small/ Pony or Petite and narrow horse fits most horses 13.0-15.0 Hands (137cm-160cm)

Medium/Full size fits most horses 15.3-16.2 Hands (160cm-170cm)

Large/X-Full size fits most horses 16.3 Hands (170cm) and up.

FITTING GUIDE:

1. Position the yoke of the breastplate at the base of the horse’s neck. Not so high that it pulls on the windpipe, or so low that it dangles on the chest.
2. Adjust the wither straps and yoke straps so the yoke is held comfortably in place.
3. Thread your (long) girth through the elastic loop. On a monoflap saddle thread the loop under the first billet strap and onto the second.
4. Adjust the girth strap so you should be able to fit about 4-5 fingers width between your hand and the horses chest at the bottom of the yoke.
